Terms of service

Please review the terms below before booking your appointment.

By booking services with Shields Auto Detailing, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Services Provided

Shields Auto Detailing offers mobile and/or in-shop car detailing services, including interior cleaning, exterior washing, and full detailing packages. Specific services and pricing are outlined at the time of booking.

2. Appointments & Scheduling

  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance.
  • We ask that customers arrive on time or ensure vehicle access for mobile services.
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be rescheduled.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee of up to $50.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed.
  • We accept cash, card, and Venmo.
  • Prices may vary depending on vehicle condition (excessive dirt, stains, pet hair, etc.).

5. Vehicle Condition & Personal Belongings

  • Customers must remove all personal belongings prior to service.
  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items left in the vehicle.
  • Heavily soiled vehicles may incur additional charges.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

We strive for high-quality service. If you are not satisfied, please notify us within 24 hours, and we will work to resolve the issue.

7. Limitations of Liability

While we take great care, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage (scratches, stains, worn surfaces)
  • Damage due to faulty parts or poor vehicle condition
  • Some stains, odors, or imperfections may not be fully removable

8. Weather Policy (Mobile Services)

  • Services may be delayed or rescheduled due to rain, extreme temperatures, or unsafe conditions.
  • We will communicate any changes as soon as possible.

9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service if:

  • The vehicle poses a safety or health risk
  • The environment is unsafe
  • The customer behaves inappropriately

10. Changes to Terms

Shields Auto Detailing reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted and effective immediately.
